In 2007, Say Cheese Writers began as an online writing freelance outfit, churning out thousands of 500-word articles for diverse clients from diverse backgrounds across the world.

 

The company was born out of an innate desire by its Founder, Lilian Okado to put to good use her gift and passion for writing.

 

Working for years as a work at home mom (WAHM), Lilian has led a strong remote team of content writers and has trained even more.

Over the years we have morphed and iterated severally, offering different writing services for a diverse clientele spread across 30+ countries globally.

 

From article writing and SEO writing to speech writing and brochure copywriting; to technical product descriptions and reviews, to ghostwriting eBooks, books and whitepapers. 

Towards the end of 2023, after analysing the impact of various bodies of content being delivered to our clients, and gauging this against the backdrop of online behaviour of prospective clients, Lilian realised that:

 

A company’s primary message should come from a person, not just the entity itself.

 

"If a visitor is coming to your site, they want to first connect with the founders before they connect with the founder’s product." 

 

Simply, founders were overlooking a huge, relatively untapped opportunity to position themselves as industry influencers, thereby missing out on building trust on a large scale with potential customers, talent, and investors.

In 2024, Say Cheese Writers once again pivoted and today, our primary objective is to help companies position their founders & executives as thought leaders in their industries.
